What's this all about?
Over the years, I've gotten a lot of phone calls from KLR folks, asking for some help and recommendations. A lot of the calls morph into the same conversation: "what's your favorite tire? Chain? How do you charge a dead battery? How can I adjust my chain?" I get invited along on rides, not because of my good looks or sparkling personality, but because newbies want to see how I operate out camping, etc. I discussed this with Mark, and we came up with this section, devoted to the student out there; these ideas may not be the best way but they represent A WAY.
